SSA New Teacher Questionnaire

We aim to provide the most enjoyable and growth oriented environment for all. We also aim to provide opportunities for you to develop and enhance your skills as a teacher, business professional and also as a person. We allow lessons to be customized for experienced teachers, or provide a set lesson plan for those less experienced teachers.

If you get selected to join our ever growing team, SSA will provide a basic training program to warm current and new students over to the new teacher. Depending on experience, this could be from less than 1 week to 3 weeks, but we try to keep it to a minimum. On the first day or two, you will be requested to sit in and watch a few classes, but these won't be paid for. After that, a training wage of 1,500 will be paid for the first month and a regular teacher will sometimes help you prepare or deliver your class, after that, the regular wage will be 1,800 with chances to further it at later stages and with additional responsibilities. SSA allows for a flexible schedule which can be customized based on your situation and needs. Feel free to ask any questions at your interview and we do hope your time in Japan can be an enjoyable one, what ever your goals.
